I have nothing against Parser. I have nothing against CS stuff. And I have nothing against the editorial board.
I agree that nationalism/love of one's country has to root to the love of smallest unit one is belonged to. In Parser's case, it is the DCS. Tulad nga ng sinabi ni AE:
"how many people are aware of what's going on in the department? how many have heard of the cs network and its purpose?
try answering the stuff jonas asked in the game show part of the awarding ceremony. kung naperfect nyo yun -- no, kung MARAMING NAKAPERFECT NUN -- (ako nga hindi eh), maybe ok na sigurong madagdagan ng topics na sumasakop sa iba pang bagay tulad ng issues sa logscript-ESC funds, sa exhibits sa engg lobbies, sa overnight permits, sa rallies.i mean, how many people even attended the awarding ceremony and other cs week events? "
"how can one develop love of country if one can't even support one of the smallest units he belongs to?"
Tama naman diba? Pero ibig bang sabihin nito I don't love my country kasi i haven't attended the CS Awarding Ceremony?
I don't expect that everyone shares the same opinion as mine.
PANGATLO: EA:"Parser was revived primarily to help in the information dissemination of the cs reps (ask carlos, chicco reyes, mike sepulveda, and ponch mante. kasama yun sa SPOA nila.)." Pasensya.
PANG-APAT: EA: "the editorial exam was meant to test the technical skills of the aspiring editors." Technical??? Hmm... Bagsak na 'ko agad dito
PANGLIMA: EA: "but apathy still exists amongst us. must it not be necessarily extinguished as well?" Malamang mahirap.
PANGANIM: EA: "appeal first to the masses, then insert your propaganda..e.g. magpasok ng mababaw na koreanovelas at fantasynovelas or whatever the heck they're called, tapos saka mo lagyan ng mga may sense (jewel in the palace)*.
PANGHULI: Sorry na, I first discovered how much i love my pen before i knew how to love the opposite sex. FIRST LOVE ko ang pagsusulat. Literal. Heart broken.. Survival of the fittest kasi ang issue.. Kaya madalas akong na-tu-turn down. I do not fit. Bitter diba?
